What’s New in NSB This Month

Purchase Orders – The Purchase Order screen has been modified to handle all information on one screen! The new PO looks a lot different, but don’t worry- we haven’t changed much. Entering a purchase order has never been easier. Learn more by going to elearn.netservicebooks.com and clicking on the Purchase Orders/Returns course.
Cash Audit Trail – We have created a running cash balance in Accounts Payable that will enhance your business checking account! Now you can compare transactions using NSB and online banking. Spend less time finding errors and more time monitoring cash flow!
New Voucher Screen – The Maintain Voucher screen in Accounts Payable has been modified in the new style: no more tabs! The information entered in the new voucher screen has not changed, just the format. We are working to move towards this new style over time. Let us know if you have any suggestions or preferences to help us better serve your company.

Did You Know…

Commercial or Residential? – Last month we added another option to the Schedule Board to pull up custom boards for residential, commercial, service and installations. Make sure that your customer list is up to date so you can take advantage of this new feature! Bring up your commercial customers in the Maintain Customer screen, click on the Misc Info tab and make sure the commercial box is checked. Then go back to the Schedule Board and view the new boards!
Auto Voucher from Purchase Orders – Tired of taking time out of your day to manually enter vouchers when invoices come in from vendors? Want to track your purchases in Accounts Payable as soon as they are made? Use the Auto Voucher option in Accounts Payable for your vendors! Simply go to Maintain Vendor, click on the Default Info tab and check the Auto Voucher box. Now every time a purchase order is made for that vendor, a voucher will be created so when the invoice comes in, it will already be in the system!
